Library News W/C 7th June 2010

The library is looking forward to welcoming Anne Evans and Sam Llewellyn as out visiting authors during the last week of term. Both writers spoke to pupils last year and proved fabulously popular.

World Cup fever has struck the library. Mrs Ryan has designed two displays on this summer’s premier sporting event and pupils are invited to review their recent reading and rate each book a goal, a miss, or a hit of the crossbar.

On the last Wednesday before half-term we were a little sad to bid farewell to this year’s Upper Sixth Pupil Librarians. They have done a fantastic job and the library could not have functioned so smoothly this year without them.
